Ever wondered how useful Google Maps could be if it can be used as a GPS Navigation Software in your Android Xperia X10, even though it is not supported in your Country. It’s the first version for non rooted phones. So any Xperia X10 owner can use this app without Rooting his/her Xperia X10 as well.

As, you can see from the screenshots above, there are a lot of customizable options in the Modified version of Google Maps. From setting the Maps to read from Cache you can use it in offline mode as well. You can force Multi-touch on most of the Android devices ( which support Multi-touch at hardware level. ) with or without custom ROM’s. And as i told you he is presently working on Back Porting Multi-touch features from Android 2.1, Eclair to work on Android 1.6, Donut as well.

I’m in USA
The most interesting feature of this app by far. You can make Google Maps to think that you are in USA. And hence use the Street View. It’s pretty cool i must say! You got to try it, and it’s a Must Must Have app. Simply Don’t miss this one. I wonder when will this Street View arrive in India?
