Samsung Corby I5500 with Android 2.1(Galaxy 5) Video preview-Launch Soon!

Samsung is using it’s corby to the max they can. They are now launching the Samsung Corby with Android 2.1,I5500. Corby has seen many a versions like Corby, Corby Text, Corby Pro, Corby Plus, Corby TV, etc. and now the Corby Android.

It is an entry level android phone which looks like the other corby as usual. ( I don’t like the design so much! I don’t know why is it so popular here in India. Guess it’s because, the Cheapest touchscreen phone. ) The spec sheet of corby Android I5500 ( Galaxy 5 ) is,

As, you can see from the feature list, it would be an Skinned Android version with their Touchwiz 3.0. And looking at the specs, it’s an entry level phone. Guess Samsung Galaxy GT-I7500 will never get the Android 2.1 update now.
