Rumor-Xperia X11-win7,1.2Ghz & X12-Android Froyo & 1.5Ghz phone details leak-Not PSP phone
Xperia X10 and Xperia X10 Family ( including X10 Mini, Mini Pro and X8 ) are being upgraded to Android 2.1, Eclair beginning from last week of September ’10. This update will bring a lot of improvements in the Xperia X10 Lineup. For more details and changelog, please read Un-official Change-log of Android 2.1, Ecalir on Xperia X10. 
After this update Sony Ericsson is set to upgrade UXP by the end of this year on all it’s Xperia Lineup.
But after the release of Xperia X10′s Android 2.1 update and UXP update, what would be the Sony Ericsson’s next move? What are they planning? A PSP phone or a Android Froyo? or a Windows 7?

Sony Ericsson did quite well to keep things under the hood this time and quitely moved to prepare something big for the Mobile Market. But recently someone leaked their confidential articles, which also disclosed the Raodmap of upgrades for Xperia X10 Lineup.
If rumors are to be believed, Sony Ericsson is Planning to announce two new phones this November-Xperia X11 and Xperia X12.
Xperia X11 is a Win7 Xperia X2 Successor and Xperia X12 is a Android phone, Xperia X10′s Successor. Bot the phone are amazingly spec-ed on paper, and would definitely blow your mind.
Xperia X11 – Xperia X2′s Successor with Win7 OS
- First Sony Ericsson phone with Win7
- Slide-out QWERTY keyboard
- Qualcomm 1.2 Ghz processor
- Few Customizations ( most probably under UXP UI )
Xperia X12 ( codenamed CLIARO ) – Xperia X10′s Successor with Android 2.2, Froyo
- 4 Inch AMOLED Screen ( No Info on Multi-touch )
- Similar design of Xperia X10 – 3mm thiner
- Gyroscope
- TI OMAP 4 Processor – 1.5Ghz
- ISP Panel Display with resolution of 1080×720
- Android 2.2, Froyo at launch or Gingerbread if Google Announces earlier ( first device with next Android Version – Honeycomb )
- 12Mp Camera
- Flash ( no info on type of flash )
- UXP – much deeper customization than Xperia X10
- Timescape and Mediascape
- November Announcement
- Jan 14th 2011 Worldwide Release
The above leak falls in the line with NTT docomo’s Winter Lineup. So, this feels to be true! And although, the specs seems to be too high at present, but this would be at par with other smartphones by next year. And by the way, Xperia X12 won’t be the first phone with 1.5Ghz processor. HTC HD3 is going to be revealed officially on Sept 15th- it also has a 1.5Ghz Processor and the first in a mobile phone as well.
And if you are wondering about the PSP Phone, sorry to disappoint you but Sony Ericsson would not bet on a Gaming Phone at present. PSP Phone might come at a later stage but not at present for sure! Would you miss PSP phone now or is it okay when Xperia X12-Clario is around the corner!

if those specs of the X12 are true…I”m sold!!!!!!
I would be careful. If the X12 affair will resemble the X10 then there are a few glitches to expect, like:
- Launch will be pushed back about 4 months
- The Android version it ships with will old and it will stay. Any updates will be too little and ridiculously too late. Especially since the UXP customization is rumored to be even deeper on the X12.
- It will have no FM radio
- SE will SAY it has multi-touch, but it will eventually turn out to be a lie. “Sony Ericson – Make Believe”
- Telephony will be lacking
I think, that SE could make such a phone! If the Japanese counterpart will help them, they can make miracles!

It’s got to be Next gen AMOLED! ( Super AMOLED! ) Better than Retina Display and it’s a ISP Touch panel as well. Lets wait for November to get all the details!
Could you explain what an ISP touch panel is?
Sony doesnt have any rights of using Super amoled yes they can Buy from samsung displays but they wont do that, i think they are gonna use OLED !!!
Why Sony Ericsson Make Again Xperia ?
First of all – the schedule is all wrong. It will never happen in that time frame.
Second, the codename; CLIARO. C-LIAR-O. LIAR. I doubt they would pick a name like that.
Third; “4 inch AMOLED Screen” followed by “ISP Panel Display with resolution of 1080×720″. So which is it? It can’t be both AMOLED and IPS. They spelled “IPS” wrong too.
Fourth; TI does not have a 1.5 GHz OMAP processor, nor are they about to release one anytime soon.
It’s just BS from beginning to end.
