Xperia X10,Mini & Pro Android 2.1, Eclair update is rolling out for India-Update Now
So, the wait is over for Indian Users as well. The Android 2.1, Eclair update for whole Xperia X10 family including Xperia X10, Xperia X10 Mini and Xperia X10 Mini Pro are now available. Xperia X10 Mini Pro update is now available from last week only but the update for X10 & Mini has been roolled out starting from today. 
This was confirmed by Sony Ericsson India at their Facebook Page,

This was infact confirmed at the Sony Ericsson Product Launch Blog as well, where Rikard is posting the Kit numbers who have the update and the India Kit number has been recently updated for Xperia X10 & Mini. Check out yourself at the Product Launch Blog. Let us know if you have a different kit version than the one listed below.
Talking of kit numbers, All of our phones have something called a Sales Item number printed on the label on the back of your phone, just next to the unique serial number (IMEI). This Sales Item number should consist of 4 digits, a dash and then 4 digits more. there could also be a .X in the end but that is insignificant for this purpose. For Indian Generic Firmware, it’s
1235-2964 : Xperia X10 Black
1235-2965 : Xperia X10 White
So rush to your computer and update your phone as soon as you can. But before you do that, i would suggest you to take a backup of all your data on your phone using PC suite for Android or MyPhone Explorer or any one of these Best BackUp Apps for your Xperia X10.

hi manish . I have tried a lot but its not showing any popup regarding update.. I have also tried reinstalling SEUS but no luck till now..
The Update is not yet available, they have pulled it off for some unknown reason! Will keep you posted when it becomes available again. Expect it to be out in a few hours if nothing went terribly wrong with pushing the updates.
The update is rolling out. Just simply reinstall and replug in your phone, it will show.

is there any difference between xperia x10 and x10i or not???
There are two versions Xperia X10a and Xperia X10i. One is american Version and other is International version.
Still not wokring.No updates at all.What will be the difference in the Indian Version ???

Im afraid its not.Its still saying no new updates available.
All it says is no new updates available.it does not even give the option to repair or do anything else.
