PlayStation Suite with PS Games on Android announced by Sony Computer-Xperia Play next?

So, it’s not about the big announcement we all had been waiting for! Not the Xperia Play yet! It’s not about the most talked about, yet to be announced PSP Phone by Sony Ericsson on the Android Platform. But Sony Ericsson is coming pretty close to it.

Earlier Today Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) announced PlayStation Suite, a new reality that will unite under a single project developers. It is said to be a hardware-neutral game framework that brings the PlayStation Gaming experience to Android phones and Android tablets. Sony Computers will license the manufactures with the quality approved hardware for Playstation quality gaming experience. This is to “ensure the delivery of PlayStation quality experience across various devices.”

PlayStation Certified Android phones and Android Tablets will have access to the new PlayStation Store, which will be having all those PS Games that you loved and miss on your Android Phone.

Playstation store will bring the original PS Classic games initially which would be refreshed later with more titles. There are no words on which PS Games would initially show up on the Playstation store yet but it has been assured that it will be recently announced ( any favorites you want to see it first on the PlayStation Store for Android? ). Wait, if that’s not enough, there’s a whole new Development Environment for PlayStation on Android for New Games that suite the Phone Gaming Experience under the all new Playstation Suite for Android. A whole world of exciting games is coming to Android.

But, you’ll have to wait for it to acutally see a PlayStation Certified Phone in a store near you, Sony Computer Entertainment said that they aim to deliver the Palystation Suite on Android in this calender year and also confirmed that playstation Suite will require Android 2.3, Gingerbread or Higher as requirements.

After the debut of the Tegra 2 Dual Core Processors, it seems that the Gaming on Android platform is going to play well. More details on this Palystaion Suite is expected in the MWC 2011 at Barcelona this year when the most expected and the first Playstaion Certified Phone with Playstation store would be announced by Sony Ericsson.
